We recently had a wonderful experience at the Milford Chappell Tractor store. We were driving our RV on Route 101 when we got a low tire pressure warning which required us to find a safe place to pull over. Seeing the Chappell Tractor parking lot, we pulled in and asked if they knew who could fix our tire (it was an inner on a dual rear axle). Corey took time to come out and look at it and spotted a rock that had penetrated the tread. He removed the rock, went inside and returned with a patch kit and quickly repaired our tire so we could get back on our way.This was exceptional service to a non-customer! Thank you, Corey!

I purchased a bx2816 snow blower for my bx2380 I purchased here about a year ago. There was a defective driveshaft which blew out almost immediately after install. Sales and service was as prompt as you would want them to be to remedy the issue by sending the road service team out within a day to fix it and make sure there was no further damage. I highly recommend them and will only do business with them in the future.

After several trips and mulling it over I finally bought a new B2601 with quite a few attachments and I have to say the sales team here is awesome. Jason took the time to go over every attachment and all of the functions of the tractor and loader and was very knowledgable and a big help! The mechanics that assembled and help me load and demo the tractor and all of the implements were very nice and patient. The parts department and BB Chain were awesome as well, helping me pick out tire chains, new chainsaw, spare parts and fluids. Overall it was a very pleasant experience and I'll definitely be back. The gem equipment provider in all of NH, hands down. EVERY BUSINESS SHOULD BE RUN LIKE THIS. Thinking about a tractor? Look no further, seriously. These people are the best. I checked out their Mahindra's in Brentwood, then found the Kubota B2650HSDC at a different company. Because of my positive experience with Ted at Brentwood, I contacted Milford where they sell the Kubota's. Jason responded with a great quote in minutes. I spoke with Jason, he told me Chappell's history and approach, and after a questionable experience elsewhere, I was sold. Then he called back and explained the incorrectly spec'd implements I had asked for (wrong for the tractor) because the other dealer had recommended. Their pricing approach is fair and reasonable, not tricks. Even though the price was much better than the other dealer, the most important thing is Jason configured my machine correctly so it will last a long time and not be overtaxed! Delivery was a blast. Mike brought it over, took me through the paces and didn't leave until I was comfortable. How cool is that (first tractor for me)?! Had a few minor issues and they sent their tech to take care without me even asking. Pete is running a fabulous service team. I cannot say enough positive about Chappell Tractor. I look forward to purchasing from them in the future as I add implements.

Got good advice on buying the right tractor from Jason. This winter, I had a problem with a safety switch and service talked me through an attempt to fix the problem... when it became clear that the fix was over my head, they dispatched Roger from Concord who made the trip to our country location, made it up our quarter mile driveway and got us back into business. Then he came back a few weeks later to make the permanent fix, this time when the driveway was not passable and ended up walking up and making the final repairs. Amazing service. People are happy, know their stuff and care about getting it right for the customer!

99 Purchase of L3600GST "demo" with 40 hrs. Outstanding tractor and experience and it continues to deliver worry free performance after 13 years of about 120 hrs/yr. use.Parts dept is great with quick help and shipping. I purchased a factory maintenance manual which was expensive, but worth it. I have been very faithful to service on this machine and it has rewarded me with over a decade of trouble free reliable service.

I tried dealing with another dealership closer to home, but they wanted to charge me delivery fee to bring me my new tractor because I lived outside their imaginary 50 mile radius. Chappell was very responsive to my request for a quote and I saved about $300 from the other quote and got free delivery. The bloke (Gavin) that delivered my tractor spent about an hour (in the pouring rain) going over how to dismount and remount the implements. So far I am very impressed with the customer service at Chappell Tractor. I highly recommend you give them a try before you commit anywhere else.

Recently I had the opportunity to use my B2782 snowblower for the first time and I ended up shearing two bolts in succession that connect the auger to the blower (i.e. fan). This required me to obtain new 1/4" x 1-1/4" grade 8 shear bolts. Needless to say I learned a lot about grade 8 bolts used for shear protection but the most important thing I learned was that I could not get a fully threaded grade 8 bolt from my local hardware store.Saturday, 2-Jan-2015, on my way home from Maine I stopped by your shop in Milford and noticed you were closed. Just my luck I thought, but I was glad that the employees could enjoy the holiday with their families.Then a couple of vehicles pulled in and two gentlemen got out and approached the building. I asked if they were owners and got a response that they were not owners but they worked there. I asked if I could get a couple of the shear bolts for my snowblower and they said "sure". I cannot believe my luck and the pleasantness I felt at being offered the opportunity to get parts since I live over an hour away. I wish I could remember the gentleman's names as I would like to recognize them for the above-and-beyond effort to assist customers. Bought my 1st tractor! Used New Holland tc35d. Was a bit nervous about buying used. So I figured best to buy from a dealer, just in case something did go wrong.Negotiated the deal asked if there was any warranty. I was told no not on this one it was as is . But we would not leave you stranded if something happen the first couple of weeks . Yeah we will see!!I agreed and took delivery. used it once ran great . Second time I went too use it, it would not start . Called the service dept. they sent Jeremiah out. turned out it got air in the system from a weak battery. bled the system fired right up. Now here's the kicker. No charge I didn't even have to ask for a discount. Thank you! I highly recomend Chappell.

Went to the Brentwood store yesterday with a problem with a Stihl BR200 backpack blower (That I purchased along with a chain saw and a weed whacker at another dealer and they could not look at it for 2 weeks) I am a former auto tech and parts manager and was asking for some advice to fix the problem myself. I asked how long it would be to schedule an appointment If I had the machine with me, they were willing to look at it right away. I did not have it with me. All the employees in the service and parts were extreemly helpful. They even went out in the shop an had the Stihl tech talk to me and answer some of my questions. He gave a tip to look at the flame arrestor and clean it. I bought a can of Stihl MotoMix and set off for home. Removed the spark arrestor and cleaned it, added the fuel and off it went!! Cant thank that crew enough. Chappell Tractor wont get rich off my homeowner purchases,, But when I do need to purchase, I know where to go. I'm not one to post reviews but being in the customer service business i feel compelled at this point. Buying the bx25d was a large purchase for me. The salesman, Jason went out of his way to get my business and make sure I was educated on my choices. Pete did a great job explaining all of the features and benefits of the machine, for over an hour! Today I had basic issues with a new purchase and within 2 hours of being notified, Chappell tractor had Zach out to ( I live and hour and a half away), fixing all my problems and making sure I was comfortable. Need a generator? Start here and Stay here at Chappell. My husband and I purchased a cheaper generator in the hope that we could save a few dollars. Long story shortit fried itsself to death on the initial startup!! It was returned. We then decided to bite the bullet and spend a little more to get a Honda. After speaking with several dealers (who all wanted to sell us the most expensive unit they had) we came back to Chappell, where we had started our search originally. We called on a Saturday just before closing time and spoke with Jason. During our conversation he was very patient and went over the details of our needs. He never tried to push us toward a specific product but rather focused on what we needed. Jason was far more knowledgeable than anyone we had spoken to. We explained that we would like to get the generator that day, and even though they would be closed before we could get there, Jason said he would waiit for us! Who does that in this day and age?? When we got to the store, Jason had the generator all set up and he even put it on the trailer for us. Nothing could have been easier. 7 days later Sandy blew through the area and we lost power. It took all of 15 minutes to put the Honda in service and we powered the entire house for the next few days. Even though they dont rate it that way, it ran an average of 14 hours on a tank of gas. Yes we spent a little more but we got a LOT more in quality. Now I know why most online reviewers say that Honda generators are the top of the line. And I would say the same thing about Jason and Chappell Tractor. Thanks Jason.

After my wife lost a tire on Amherst st in Amherst NH, Walter after a long day or work and in the rain, took the time to not only stop and check on my wife. He helped her get the wheel back on. I have not done business with Chappel tractor, but will say that if there employees will go this far for someone they dont know. They certainly are worth doing business with and should go the extra mile for their customers as well.

My family has been buying Stihl saws and husqvarna products for years. When I moved to Hollis 10 years ago, I told my husband we needed to go to Chappell tractor for our lawn tractor. My husband was shocked at how great everyone was. In his mind he thought we needed to go to a big box store but after visiting Chappell he was amazed at their knowledge, helpfulness and honesty. They helped him find the right lawn tractor for our lawn and gave us a fair deal. My husband and I agree they are the best for service and honesty. My husband went back last fall to buy our snow blower. They even delivered our equipment for free.We have not needed service for our mower or blower but after borrowing my fathers saw, my husband wanted to get a tune up for it. It is a very old Stihl saw and Chappell tuned it up and helped it look and work new again.Chappell are honest, fair and helpful. I highly recommend them. When I observed the terrain at my grandsons new home I decided that the old Yanmar tractor without a roll bar was not adequate. I started to look into purchasing a new one as a gift to this most generous man who is one of my 25 grandchildren. It wasnt long when I was sold on the Kubota. I went to the local distributor with my checkbook in hand to make the purchase. I had done business with these people before and was totally satisfied. The man has retired and his son now runs the business and has a salesman working for him and seems to care little about selling tractors. Needless to say I was on my way without a purchase. I went on line and discovered Chappell, so took a ride to Milford where I was pleased with the appearance of your store and equally pleased to meet Dave Gage your sales rep.The sale was made June 15 with the understanding that delivery would take place sometime in the future after my grandson settled into his new home. A phone call and as planned the tractor was delivered. What I didnt know as satisfied as I was, the best part of this whole experience was yet to come. Your man Rick was beyond anything I could expect. He was patient with all kinds of dumb questions from a largely inexperienced audience, He was thorough in every aspect of safety and maintenance of the Kubota and made us feel that he would not leave us until he was satisfied we were all set.Youll Notice The Difference Is your model. I called three dealers, one never returned my call, one was condesending and i felt like i was bothering him. Chappell was with out a doubt the best experience i have had making any large purchase be it car, boat motorcycle whatever. Dave Gage is extremely knowledgable and a pleasure to deal with. Based on my application he steered me in the right direction and did not take advantage of my lack of knowledge advising me on what to buy and what would not be usefull. He was in no way interested in just making a sale. My tractor was deliveried as promised with all attachment and chains installed. Rick Blair spent over 3 hours with me on delivery day to make sure i was completely familiar with my new toy. During the first weekend i put 8hrs on it. I pretty much had my mind set on what I wanted. Your website did not show the tractor I was looking for, but when I went on TractorHouse.com, it was listed along with photo/s at your Milford store. Salesman Dave returned ALL my calls in a very prompt and professional manner. I purchased a used Ford 1900/bucket and the overall sale turned out to be a great transaction. Like I said, I knew what I was looking for, so the sale was quick. I can honestly say I cannot comment on Service or the wheeling and dealing as they say. We just purchased a Kubota BX 23s, with the Curtis Cab. The entire experience was outstanding. Jason Cote, the salesman, did an outstanding job helping us with this purchase. Jason is very knowledgeable and has not steered us in a direction that would be incompatible with the size of our property.
The delivery men were just so easy to get along with and knew the equipment they were delivering. The BX23s was delivered clean and beautiful. Tim was so patient and explained in detail how to take the backhoe on and off and how to take off and back on the loader. He answered questions on the heat in the cab and how to operate the different controls. Any questions we had he answered and was so very easy to get along with.
This is our third purchase of a tractor from Chappell. While there is a Kubota dealer closer to us, we have found Chappell to be consistent with delivery, maintenance and overall positive customer experience. Thank you!!
